There was little movement in gas prices the past week.
The average price for a gallon regular in Gainesville increased a penny to $2.90. The statewide average is also up one cent to $2.91. And the national average stayed the same – $3.13.
AAA says as we enter peak hurricane season, storms affecting gas production and distribution are something to keep an eye on. But right now, with crude oil prices remaining steady, there’s no indication gas prices will make any drastic moves.
