FBPD arrests two on drug charges

FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPT. (FBPD) NEWS RELEASE:

“On August 9… officers with the Flowery Branch Police
Department conducted a traffic stop on McEver Road for a window tint violation.
The vehicle was occupied by three male individuals.

During the course of the stop, officers conducted a field investigation and
established probable cause to arrest Rodolfo Aleman, 25, and Jesus Aleman, 24,
both of Flowery Branch, on drug-related charges.

Following the arrests, a search warrant was obtained for the suspects’ residence
on Lights Ferry Road. A search of both the vehicle and residence led to the seizure
of marijuana, THC vape pens, and various drug-related paraphernalia.

Additional charges were filed as a result of the evidence recovered.”

Charges against each of the suspects include intent to distribute marijuana.

A spokesman for the police department did not know the relationship between the pair.
