Jessica Rowe, a family nurse practitioner, has joined the staff at Northeast Georgia Physicians
Group (NGPG) Flowery Branch
.Rowe’s journey into healthcare started with a calling to be part of something bigger than
herself. She chose nursing because she wanted to make a real difference, and quickly discovered
she had both the passion and the mindset for nursing. That sense of purpose only grew during a
service trip to Peru.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Augusta University and her master’s
degree from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Rowe was thrown into the height of
the COVID-19 pandemic as a new graduate. Working on overwhelmed hospital units at Emory
Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, and then later in Florida, she took on roles far beyond the
bedside. She most recently worked at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton, just eight
miles from the new NGPG Flowery Branch building where she will now provide care.
