Trans inmate at Buford prison part of class action suit filed over forced detransition

A class action lawsuit representing nearly 300 incarcerated people – including at least one housed at Phillips State Prison in Buford – says the state’s refusal to allow gender-affirming care constitutes cruel and unusual punishment.
