Gas prices down slightly across the board

Gas prices fluctuated slightly this past week with the Hall County average for a gallon of regular going down by two cents to $2.88.

The statewide average is a penny less than last Monday – $2.90, and the national average is down three cents to $3.13, according to AAA.

Crude oil prices are hanging in the mid $60s per barrel, keeping pump prices steady, the auto club reports. Supply remains abundant, as OPEC+ recently announced it will be boosting production again next month, following several other increases this year.
