A 38-year-old Lula man was arrested at Banks County Middle School Friday.
Sheriff Carlton Speed said Terry Moore was arrested without incident after a report of a “suspicious male” on school grounds.
Sheriff Speed added that once Moore was identified, it was determined that he was wanted for failure to appear in court. The sheriff said that there were never any threats to the school or the students.
“The swift response of school staff and deputies ensured the safety and security of all students and faculty,” he said.
