Geoff Duncan, the former Republican Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, is now a member of the Democrat party.

The switch from the GOP to the Dems stems from disagreements over President Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Key issues influencing Geoff Duncan’s decision include healthcare, gun safety, and immigration, while his belief in the importance of public policy is based on “loving your neighbor.”

Fox 5 reports Duncan once considered “rising star” in state GOP circles was expelled from the Georgia Republican Party earlier this year for perceived disloyalty, such as endorsing Democrats.
