*A recent survey ranks Georgia among the top 10 states for business in the U.S. The CNBC survey listed Georgia 9th for economy, 4th for infrastructure, and 3rd for its workforce. Overall, the Peach State was ranked 7th for business.  Gov. Kemp tells us at every opportunity how good Georgia is for business.

*Kelvin King is running for Georgia Secretary of State – the official who oversee Georgia elections. His wife Janelle King is a member of the State Election Board and critics see that as a conflict of interest. She’s also a media personality on Fox News. The AJC reports people wonder if his wife on the election board gives King a political advantage.

*Dereck Dooley is making it official today: He’s in the U.S. Senate race, planning to run in the Republican Primary next year. The former football coach and son of the late University of Georgia coach Vince Dooley, made his announcement after weeks of speculation in a campaign video released this morning.
