HABERSHAM CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE:
A deputy from the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office responded July 23 to reported
damage at the School Bus Graveyard on Ga. 365 at Crane Mill Road outside Alto.
The owners of the property, which features a well-known art installation, showed that
windows had been broken out of some three dozen vehicles, including two belonging to
customers.
Estimated damages were reported to be around $10,000.
The property is a former junkyard known for its wildly painted school buses and other
folk art and is rented for photography and filming of movies and social media videos.
