Townhomes, more retail space, and a special event facility are in the works for south Gainesville and the plans for them will be heard by the Gainesville Planning & Appeals Board (GPAB) Aug. 12.
The townhomes would be located on one-half acre on Chestnut Street between High Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.
The corner of Atlanta Highway and Mimosa Street is where the special event facility and retail space are proposed.
