Believe it or not, today is the first day of school for children in one north Georgia county – Chattooga, apparently the earliest start of any public school system in the state.
But not far behind students in six systems head back to class Monday, including Jackson County. Then, the floodgates open and the big rush begins Tuesday, with the start of things for more than two dozen systems, including Hall County.
