A large commercial building burned overnight in Clarkesville, according to a late-night Facebook posting from Habersham County Emergency Services.
“Residents, please be cautious in the area of Beaver Dam Road as our crews are busy containing a structure fire. If possible, please avoid the area. Units from Habersham Emergency Services, the Clarkesville Fire Department, and LACI (Lee Arrendale Correctional Institute) are on scene.”
