A 5-year-old boy died from Cumming has drowned at Lake Chatuge in Towns County. It happened Tuesday according to the Towns County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO).
The boy’s family was vacationing at a rental home when the sheriff’s office got a call about a possible drowning on Stonecrest Circle.
The youngster was taken to the Chatuge Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He had been missing about ten minutes when a family member discovered him and pulled him from the lake.
His name was not immediately released.
