A man wanted by the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office since late 2024 for multiple
felony charges involving sex crimes against children has been arrested.
Omar Cruz-Juarez, 45, was picked up Friday by U.S. Marshals in Hall County.
“The case stems from incidents reported Nov. 13, 2024, outside Cornelia,” Habersham Sheriff’s Office spokesman Rob Moore said.
Charges against Cruz-Juarez include aggravated child molestation, two counts of
aggravated sodomy, sexual battery, and four counts of child molestation.
