FORSYTH CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (FCSO) NARRATIVE (EDITED FOR CLARITY AND BREVITY):

“Last week we were looking for a missing elderly man.  He had gone for a walk and did not come home.  The family was concerned so they called us.

We canvassed the area with Uniform Patrol Units, Traffic Units, Crime Reduction Units and even a member of the Community Relations Unit and Civil Unit.  We received a scent article for K9 Calvin to track the individual and had our Drone up and the Fire Department’s Drone up looking for the missing man.  Johns Creek even sent over K9 Pandora to help in the search.  All these men and women working together to find a missing person.

The gentleman was found safe and we returned him home.  The family was extremely appreciative of the efforts given to find their loved one.  They also made a donation to B.A.D.G.E.  as a thank you.   B.A.D.G.E. is a non-profit organization that assists first responders in Forsyth County should they have an emergency situation.  For more information about B.A.D.G.E., please visit www.badgeoffcso.org
