FBCC to consider plans for 74-home subdivision

The Flowery Branch City Council (FBCC) will consider plans for a 74-home subdivision on Jones Road when it meets Thursday night.

The 22 acres set aside for the project are in the 6200 block of Jones Road. Heritage Group Homes, LLC, is seeking annexation and rezoning for the subdivision.

The council agenda also includes discussion of a contract with United Signs, LLC, for Gateway signs at four entrants into Flowery Branch: Atlanta Highway near the city’s wastewater treatment plant, Atlanta Highway near Nichols Body Shop, Light’s Ferry Road near Boston Trail Drive, and McEver Road near Enclave at Park Haven. United Signs’ bid was for $119,000.
