*A Newnan-based company is under investigation for a Ponzi scheme that climbed into the millions. The Securities and Exchange Commission stated late last week that 300 investors were defrauded out of 140-million-dollars by First Building Liberty and Loan over the past decade. The owner of the company allegedly used more than two-million-dollars to make personal credit card payments.
