Gville man facing several child sex charges, including incest

HCSO NARRATIVE:

“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies recently arrested a Gainesville man for child molestation and other offenses stemming from an investigation that began earlier this year.

HCSO Warrant Service Unit deputies took custody of Daniel Moreno, 32, at a residence in the 2100 block of Dixie Drive on Thursday afternoon, July 3.

The investigation began on Feb. 25 when the female victim, who is under the age of 16, disclosed the sexual abuse to deputies. According to the preliminary investigation, Moreno abused the victim between Jan. 15 and Jan. 31 at a home in the northwestern part of the county.

HCSO investigators obtained arrest warrants for Moreno on June 26 for charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery and incest.

Moreno is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond.”
