A woman with addresses in both Banks County and Pickens County, South Carolina turned herself in to the Hall County Jail Friday after biting and attempting to stab a 63-year-old man.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Rhonda Ann Turner, 52, went to confront the victim at his residence on Whitehall Road on Tuesday, June 10th. Another man who is related to the victim allowed Turner to enter the residence around 8pm.
An argument began, then Turner made an attempt to stab the victim in the abdomen. The 63-year-old grabbed the knife, causing an injury to his hand. Turner then bit the vicitm on the chest. The other man in the house then pulled Turner away from the vicitm and she then left the house.
According to the investigation by HCSO, Ms. Turner and the vicitm had been in a relationship in the past.
Arrest warrants for aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery were obtained on June 11th. Each charge falls under the Family Violence Act (FVA).
Turner is currently in the Hall County jail without bond.
