Gas prices in Georgia remained largely unchanged as of Monday compared to this time last week. Hall County being an exception, though.
According to AAA, The Auto Club Group, Georgians are paying $2.86 on-average for regular unleaded gasoline, but this “. . . can change overnight.” This price is 7 cents lower than a month ago and 42 cents lower than a year ago. In Hall County, the price this week is up four cents from a week ago, to $2.87 a gallon.
Nationally, the price for a gallon of regular gasoline rose 1 cent to $3.13.
Regionally (Atlanta) The price for 1 gallon is $2.87.
AAA states that the most expensive markets in the state are Savannah at $2.97 per gallon, Valdosta at $2.92, and Macon at $2.90.
The least expensive markets in the state are Augusta-Aiken at $2.81 per gallon, Catoosa-Dade-Walker at $2.77, and Warner Robins at $2.74.
