Now that the unseasonably warm weather of last week and the stormy weather of the weekend have pushed through our area, much drier and cooler conditions will move in through the middle of the week.
Wednesday morning will be the coldest, with freeze/frost potential across northwest Georgia and near freezing in other parts of north Georgia. In fact, a freeze watch has been posted for the northwest corner extending into parts of northwest Georgia along the Tennessee and North Carolina borders.
Lows in Gainesville the rest of the week will be in the upper 30s to mid 40s for the most part, bottoming out at 40 Saturday night.
