Hall County Schools Supt. Thursday announced his choice for two more principalships at schools in the county.
Leigh Wilson has been picked to run things at as the Cherokee Bluff Middle School, taking the place of Robert Wilson, who has been selected be the next Principal of Chicopee Woods Elementary, the other choice Schofield revealed Wednesday.
Leigh Wilson began her career in Hall County Schools as a Special Education Paraprofessional at West
Hall High from 2008 to 2010 and in 2020 she moved into administration, serving as an Assistant Principal at both Cherokee Bluff High and Middle School. Since 2021, she has been an Assistant Principal solely at Cherokee Bluff High, where she continues to serve.
Robert Wilson will take the place of Rebecca Fisher at Chicopee Woods, who will be stepping aside at the end of the year.
Wilson spent two years as an assistant principal at Flowery Branch Elementary before serving six years as the principal of Lyman Hall Elementary. For the past seven years, he has led Cherokee Bluff Middle School as principal.
The recommendations will be made Monday’s school board meeting.
