The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) continues to investigate a Saturday evening incident that resulted in the arrest of a South Hall man on charges including aggravated sodomy.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“HCSO deputies took Jorge Lopez, 27, into custody at his residence in the 5100 block of Persimmon Chase. The deputies’ arrest followed (an) approximately 8:15 p.m. call about an assault at the mobile home.
According to the preliminary investigation, the female victim, 17, and two other females, both 18, were at Lopez’s residence when he committed aggravated sodomy against the 17-year-old. The investigation also revealed that Lopez provided alcoholic beverages to the 18-year-old women.
Deputies obtained arrest warrants for Lopez on charges of aggravated sodomy (felony) and two counts of furnishing alcohol to a minor (misdemeanor). He was transported to the Hall County Jail where he remained held without bond on Monday afternoon…”
