A fire early Monday morning destroyed a vacant house in the East Hall area.
HALL CO. FIRE RESCUE (HCFR) NEWS RELEASE:
“At approximately 1:10 a.m., Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 5900 block of Maiden Lane in Lula for reports of a residential fire. Engine 6 arrived first on scene and found a fully engulfed abandoned home.
Crews made a defensive attack from the exterior of the structure, continually flowing water, until the flames were extinguished. No one was found inside the house and no one was injured on scene. The structure is considered to be a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.”
