Big Lots which is in the throes of bankruptcy plans to close all its remaining stores – several of which are in Gainesville and surrounding areas – because it does not anticipate completing its previously announced purchase agreement with Nexus Capital Management.
Going out of business sales will begin at all stories in “the coming days,” Big Lots said in a news release Thursday.
Big Lots has 38 remaining stores in Georgia – including locations in Gainesville, Buford, Cumming and Cornelia.
The Company is continuing to serve customers in-store and online.
