A Gainesville man was arrested on child sex charges during a search of his northwest Hall County home by sheriff’s investigators Friday.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE (HCSO) NARRATIVE:
“Acting on a cybertip, investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Internet
Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit determined William Landrum English, 23, possessed
one video of an adult woman involved in sexual activity with a minor male victim. English
also shared the video via his Snapchat account.
As a result, English was charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, one for
possession of the video and the other for distribution of the video. Additional charges are
possible pending forensic review of electronic devices seized from the residence.
