*Georgia has been ranked as the second-worst state for holiday delivery delays this year, according to a study by Overnight Glasses. Factors such as online searches related to delayed packages, USPS performance, and freight flow per capita were considered in the analysis. 13WMAZ reports the state had the highest number of Google searches for missing packages, indicating potential delays for holiday deliveries. The study suggests that ordering gifts now may be a good idea to avoid being left empty-handed on Christmas morning.
*KimLinh Ngo is set to make history as the first student at Georgia Gwinnett College to graduate with three bachelor’s degrees on the same day. Ngo, who initially pursued nursing, found her passion in programming and added degrees in health science, business administration, and management information systems. Despite working at two restaurants to pay for her classes, Ngo was inspired by her parents’ hard work and hopes to pursue a career in data analysis or software engineering after graduation.
*Some interesting players could be joining the race for U.S. Senate on the Republican side in 2026. The AJC reports Insurance Commissioner John King has shown interest in running for the seat, unless Gov. Brian Kemp decides to do so. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is also said to be considering making a run for the seat. The Republican nominee would challenge Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff.
