*Georgia’s election interference case is going to continue. Re-elected Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis has indicated she intends to push forward with the 2020 investigation that involves multiple suspects. That includes Donald Trump, but his case may have to wait four-more years.
*All 159 counties in Georgia have officially certified the 2024 election results. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger says the election was free, fast, and fair. He also says also nearly 60 fake bomb threats were called into election offices and that more than 5.3 million people voted. The state has until November 23 to certify results. All state electors must hand in their votes for the presidential election December 17.
*Marjorie Taylor Greene, the controversial northwest Georgia congresswoman, is focused on supporting the new president-elect in Congress. The Republican had previously shown interest in being Homeland Security secretary, but Donald Trump went in a different direction this week. She told the AJC that she’ll instead be focusing on what she can do in her current position after her re-election.
