It’s down to the wire for ‘get out and the vote’ initiatives

With early voting ending Friday in Georgia and the General Election coming up Tuesday, two politically active Gainesville-based groups are making last-minute “get out and vote” pitches.

The Hall County Republican Parts plans a day of “phone banking and door knocking” Saturday beginning with a breakfast at the Trump Force 47 office on Browns Bridge Road.

Special Guests: Congressman Andrew Clyde. Hall GOP Chairman Rich Elsarelli, Trump Force 47 Regional Field Manager Kody Jordan and Trump Force 47 Captains.

Meanwhile, the Newtown Florist Club is reminding its members and others to vote early “and bring ten friends” and be sure to turn in any absentee ballots that are still outstanding by taking them to the drop box inside the county government building.

It’s all part of the Newtown Voter Engagement project.
