The long-running Cracker Fly-in at Gainesville’s Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport returns in October but with a new name and a new theme.
Suspended when the pandemic hit three years ago, the fly-in had been an early July tradition for years, sponsored by Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 611.
It’s scheduled to return Oct. 21 as the Halloween Fly-in. And as always will feature a static display of various aircraft that fly in from all over.
