In our broadcast ‘Game of the Week’, the East Hall Vikings defeated the West Hall Spartans 42-35, at Valhalla, for their first region win of the season.
The game was a hard-fought battle, with both the Vikings and Spartans scoring touchdowns in every quarter but the first.
East Hall is now 4-5 on the season, and 5th in region 8-AAA at 1-3. The Vikings still have a chance to enter the state playoffs, if they win their last regular season game against Cherokee Bluff next week.
Meanwhile, West Hall is now 4-5 on the season, and 6th in the region at 0-4. The Spartans wrap up the regular season next week at the Hot Gates against the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes.
