Five nonprofits serving Hall Co. to share in latest round of JEMC grants

Five nonprofit groups serving Hall County are getting a total of $75,000 in the latest round of grants from the Jackson EMC Foundation.

They are: Junior Achievement of Georgia, Inc.; Project Adam Community Assistance Center, Inc.; Sleep in Heavenly Peace GA-Belmont Chapter; Buford First United Methodist Church for its Sack Kids Hunger relief program; and Straight Street Revolution Ministries, Inc. Each is getting $15,000.

In all, nearly $233,000 in grants were approved this time around.
