A second suspect has been arrested in connection to two smash and grab burglaries that occurred earlier this year at the same business on McEver Road.
Genaro Moran, 27, of Flowery Branch, was arrested Tuesday on warrants obtained last month by Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) property crimes investigators, who had been investigating break-ins at The Sports Shack, a business that sells sports memorabilia and other collectible items. The investigation was able to tie Moran to burglaries on April 18 and May 8, according tothe sheriff’s office. Damage to the business was estimated at more than $10,000. The stolen merchandise was valued at more than $7,100.
Moran faces two felony counts of smash and grab burglary from a retail establishment. He is being held at the Hall County Jail with no bond.
Another suspect, 26-year-old Oscar Rodriguez-DeJesus of Gainesville, was charged recently with the April 18 crime.
