The Meals on Wheels program in Gainesville, which provides free, hot lunches to about 550 seniors in Hall County Monday-Friday, is seeking donations for holiday gifts for the meal recipients, preferably a lap throw or throw blanket and warm socks.
“For some seniors, this may be the only gift they receive,” a Facebook post says. “You help and be a Secret Santa for Seniors by donating blankets and/or socks.”
Deadline fo donating is Nov. 15.
