Gas trimmer thief arrested; Drug-related robbery; $4K damage to ATM

*A 23-year-old man was busted on shoplifting charges after he allegedly tried to pawn gas trimmers he had reportedly stolen from Lowes in Gainesville at a local pawn shop. Edgar Moises Yebra “was caught on camera multiple times taking gas trimmers,” Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook said.

*A 19-year-old man is behind bars on an armed robbery charge that Lt. Holbrook says, “appears to be a drug situation.” Wilberth Arellano was arrested early Wednesday afternoon, according to Hall County Jail reports. He’s also charged with possession of marijuana.

*Lanier Credit Union reports someone tampered with one of its ATMs and caused about $4,000 damage in the process, without gaining access to the money in it.
