Attempting to elude; drugs; pointing a gun at another, damaging govt property

*A 21-year-old man was arrested about midnight Friday and charged with fleeing and attempting to elude among several other things. The arrest was made at Mundy Mill Road and I-985. Those other charges are No Proof of Minimum Insurance, Wrong Class of License, Speeding, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, and a license plate violation.

*A 35-year-old woman was jailed Saturday on seven charges of possession of controlled substances. She’s also charged with No Proof of Insurance, Driving with a Suspended/Canceled/Revoked Tag, and a couple of windshield tinting violations.

*An incident involving aggravated assault with a gun led to the arrest of an 18-year-old woman. Charges include Obstruction of an Officer, Pointing a Gun at Another, Aggravated Assault with a weapon, Financial Transaction Card Theft, Interference with Government Property, Possession of a weapon in the commission of a crime, Possession of Methamphetamine, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and not keeping drugs in their original container.

Details on these are not likely to be available until law enforcement administration offices open Monday after the weekend.
