In our broadcast game of the week, the West Hall Spartans defeated the Franklin County Lions 27-13 in the last non-region game for both teams. The Lions begin region 8-AA play next week in a match up against Stephens County, while West Hall will begin region 8-AAA play against Jefferson.
West Hall scored a total of three touchdowns and two field goals, scoring touchdowns in every quarter but the second. Franklin County scored two touchdowns; one in the first quarter and one in the fourth. The extra point was missed after the second touchdown.
