(GA. NEWS NETWORK) – A new report shows 4 out of 5 Georgia parents move their child out of a booster seat too soon.
Suzanne Johansson is the Head of Child Safety Engineering for General Motors, and she says 80% of drivers report seeing someone else allowing a child to ride in an unsafe way.
The report, Booster Seat Use in the USA: Breakthroughs and Barriers, shows that by using the proper safety seat the risk of serious injury drops by 45%.
