Though details are sketchy at this time, at least two people were killed in Lumpkin County accidents over the weekend, according to Sheriff Stacy Jarrard.

“There were three accidents this weekend at Iron Mountain that took the lives of two individuals and (a) third individual was transported with serious injuries,” Jarrard said in a Facebook post.

“Georgia State Patrol worked the accidents and charges were filed for the drivers.”

Iron Mountain bills itself on its website as “north Georgia’s premier off-road park.”
