Nursing home caregiver indicted in $15K theft case

(FROM GEORGIA NEWS NETWORK) – A former caregiver at a nursing home in Forsyth County has been indicted for allegedly stealing pre-loaded payment cards intended for elderly residents at the facility.

WSB-TV reports Marilyn Fulks is accused of using the cards, containing $350 each, for her own expenses instead of the residents’ essential needs.

The fraud involved 35 victims and amounted to $15,000.

Officials with the nursing home say Fulks no longer works at the facility.
