Suspect in Maria Gomez-Perez case indicted in Ohio

The Dover, Ohio, man who has been arrested in connection with the month-long disappearance of a 12-year-old Gainesville girl has been indicted on six charges by a Tuscarawas County, Ohio grand jury.

The indictment charges Antonio Agustin-Ailon with:

*Rape (Two Counts)

*Gross Sexual Imposition

*Pandering sexually-oriented matters involving a minor or impaired person (Two Counts) 

*Interference with custody 

He was arrested in Dover two weeks ago after investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) were able to trace the pair to Ohio after Maria Gomez-Perez contacted her father in Gainesville. UPDATE #3: Break in Maria’s case came when she contacted her father (wgtjradio.com)

He’s scheduled to be arraigned and enter a plea to the charges next Friday.
