Gville trolley, shuttle services suspended as storm cleanup, power restoration continue

All Gainesville Trolley and shuttle services have been suspended for today as cleanup continues citywide following Tuesday night’s storm. Many streets and roads were still blocked by debris this morning, according to city officials.

Tuesday’s strong winds downed scores of trees across Hall County, many of them falling across city streets.

As of noon, Jackson EMC had restored power to all but 532 customers in Hall County and 85 in Jackson. Georgia Power was showing three outages in Hall County affecting 232 customers.
