Retiring businessman donates his company’s assets to Hall County Habitat

After more than 50 years in business, Richard Robinson, retired and closed the doors of his company, Robinson Plumbing in Buford.

A Habitat for Humanity ReStore shopper and Robinson Plumbing employee suggested Habitat for Humanity of Hall County as a beneficiary of the company’s assets.

Robinson agreed and donated four vehicles and several pallets of plumbing supplies to Habitat for Humanity of Hall County as he cleaned out his warehouse for the final time.

“This gracious act was in direct alignment with Mr. Robinson’s character that guided how he led his team and his family,” an emailed statement from Habitat reads. “We build homes, community and hope, but it takes everyone. Thank you to Mr. Robinson and family for serving your community once again. We are better together.”
