New rules will go into place at Six Flags Over Georgia later this week.
Beginning on Friday, children ages 15 and younger who are inside the facility will need to have a chaperone after 4 p.m., according to an announcement from the amusement park.
While park officials would not say if the change is the result of a specific incident, this past March on opening day Cobb County police shot a 15-year-old boy and charged him following an exchange of gunfire and say park security dealt with a disorderly crowd of some 600 people “running through the park and fighting.”
