GEORGIA DOT ADVISORY:
“WHAT: Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) maintenance crews will be patching the roadway on State Route (SR) 13 (Atlanta Highway). The work on SR 13 will start at the entrance of Interstate-985 and continue up to Jesse Jewell Parkway/SR 369. Work will occur each evening beginning Sunday night, July 14, 2024. Single lane closures start at 7:30 p.m. and continue through to the next morning until 5:30 a.m. when the roadway will fully reopen. The work will commence each evening Sunday through Wednesday for a period of three weeks or until the project is completed.
WHEN: The single lane closure will begin on Sunday evening, July 14, 2024 through Wednesday beginning at 7:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. the following morning – weather permitting – for a period of several weeks.
WHERE: This operation will impact traffic in both directions. Flagmen will be used at certain times during this project. Please be observant of workers.”
