Two Habersham County men remained in the Hall County Jail Friday afternoon, one on drug trafficking charges, after officers say they found 5.2 grams of Fentanyl in their car. Detective Sgt. Stewart Webb said the drug was found under the passenger’s seat.

“…Oakwood units received a tip regarding a vehicle, identified as a silver 2014 Nissan Versa, that was within Oakwood’s jurisdiction that was suspected of picking up fentanyl earlier in the evening in Buford…
Oakwood units got in place to observe the vehicle leave the location and began to follow the vehicle. A traffic stop was made on Mundy Mill Rd at I985 exit 16 NB turn lane based on the driver failing to use a turn signal to change lanes as well as military style hat obstructing the rear-view mirror.
Passenger Andrew Dover, 23, Demorest, admitted to having Meth in a straw between his legs. He was charged with Trafficking of Fentanyl and drug related objects.
Frederick Bishop, 70, Clarkesville, admitted to being in possession of pipes and marijuana. He was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and drug related objects.”
Dover is being held without bond; Bishop’s bond has been set at $2,600.
