Latest Jackson EMC Bright Ideas grants

This school year, 48 teachers from 30 schools received a total of $73,600 in Jackson EMC Bright Ideas grants.

Four are included in the latest round – one from Jackson, Madison (pictured), Barrow and Gwinnett counties – all in the Jackson EMC service area. Since 2015, the electric co-op has awarded more than $550,000 in Bright Ideas grants to local educators.

The Bright Ideas grant program provides middle school teachers with up to $2,000 for classroom projects that would otherwise not be funded.
