Clyde, McCormick split vote on foreign aid bills

The two members of Congress who represent Hall County were “polar opposites” when it came to support of the package of foreign aid bills that passed the House Saturday.

The 9th District’s Andrew Clyde (R-Jackson County) voted “no” across the board on all four measures. But Rich McCormick (R-Suwanee) (pictured)), who recently added slices of western and southern parts of the county to his district, supported each one.

Clyde and northwest Georgia’s Marjorie Taylor Greene were the only members of Congress to vote against all of the bills.
