A Gainesville man wanted on various drug charged remained in the Hall County Jail Friday following his arrest Thursday, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO).
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“An investigation in February into drug activity at a residence on Camp Springs Drive on the southeast side of the county led to the seizure of a quantity of cocaine and other illegal narcotics. As a result, warrants were issued for the arrest of James Lee Mixon, 57. This week deputies with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Warrants Service Unit found Mixon and placed him in custody.
At this time, Mixon is being held without bond on the following charges:
· Possession of cocaine (2 grams)
· Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
· Possession of hydrocodone (33 pills)
· Possession of hydrocodone with intent to distribute
· Drugs not in original container (4 pills – 2 hydrocodone, 1 oxycodone, 1 unknown)
· Possession of drug-related objects (digital scales and baggies)
Estimated street value of the illegal narcotics is $755.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges against Mixon are anticipated.”
