N. Hall wreck closes road for about 8 hours, knocks out power

HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE:

“Around 9:30 p.m. (Tuesday), a driver was traveling on Hubert Stephens Road near Old Howser Mill Road when he lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the roadway and struck a power pole.

The driver was extricated from his vehicle and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Hubert Stephens Road was closed just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and remained closed until about 6:30 (Wednesday) morning so the power pole could be replaced by Jackson EMC crews.

The preliminary investigation indicates the driver lost control of his vehicle on the wet pavement. He has been cited for driving too fast for conditions and failure to maintain lane.”
